The Mechanics Trentham Community Hall

The Mechanics Trentham is a newly constructed site in the heart of Trentham. The Mechanics Trentham community hall offers a large space and commercial kitchen for big events and gatherings, from weddings to community events.

The high ceilings and airy light-filled space creates a modern and beautiful area that can be laid out in a variety of ways. You can use the 18 large round tables with ten seats per table, for a sit-down event for 180 people. There is a total of 200 chairs available which can be configured in any way you choose. A PA system and speakers are located in the hall, along with a retractable screen for audio visual presentations, microphones and two lecterns. There are accessible toilets in the building. A hearing loop is able to be used in the hall. Please note, it is the hirer's responsibility to set up the space in the way they choose. Please allow time in your booking to set up the hall.

Your hire of the community hall includes hire of the commercial kitchen at The Mechanics Trentham, Kit's Kitchen. There are also two kitchenettes including bar fridges in the community hall. The hall has access to the northern facing deck and smaller southern deck. The large windows along the length of the building face on to the picturesque open space and creek.

A removable stage is also available for events and performances.

The Mechanics Trentham building is also home to the Trentham Library, a Council hub and visitor information centre. It was completed in June 2024.
