Hepburn Shire is in Dja Dja Wurrung country in central Victoria. On these lands, Djaara have performed age-old ceremonies of celebration, initiation and renewal. Our shire is close to Melbourne, Ballarat, Bendigo & the Macedon Ranges. Our forests, natural mineral springs and rolling landscapes make it a popular destination for visitors. Our shire also boasts walking trails, locally-grown food & wine, numerous dining options, extensive accommodation, galleries, markets and festivals.

This space contains 7 different areas that can be booked independently.


About this space

The Mechanics Trentham is a newly constructed site in the heart of Trentham. The Mechanics Trentham offers a variety of hireable spaces in the building, with everything from a large community hall and commercial kitchen through to small areas for intimate gatherings. The building is also home to the Trentham Library, a Council hub and visitor information centre. The Mechanics Trentham is available for hire from mid-June 2024.

· Spaces at The Mechanics Trentham must be left in a clean and tidy condition after your event, ready for the next user.

· No decorations will be permitted unless they can be installed without damage to the walls, floors, ceiling or fittings.

· Any additional items brought into The Mechanics Trentham must not damage the flooring.

· Set up of any tables and chairs is the sole responsibility of the hirer. These are located in the storage area within the hall.

· All kitchen items must be washed, dried and put away to their original position.

· Any tables and chairs must be returned to their stored/stacked position when leaving the venue.

· The Mechanics Trentham must be securely locked when leaving the venue.

· Any alcohol consumption must comply with liquor regulations.

· Access keys must be returned to the lock box.

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 14 days before your booking. After that, cancel and get a 50% refund.
Parking and Public Transport Information

Parking is available to the rear of the building and in nearby streets. V/Line offers a bus service to Woodend and Daylesford to Trentham. Find out more at https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/journey
