About this space
At one end of Sparrow Reserve in Woodville North, through the expansive grassed stretch of open space, stands the Woodville North Community Hall.
A community favourite, with a capacity of 70 people in theatre style and 40 people in cabaret style setup, the hall offers the following features;
chairs & tables
air-conditioning and heating
a cosy, galley kitchen equipped with fridge, electric stove and hot water urn
a smaller storage room (for use during the hire only)
With the recent upgrade and rebuild of the playground and shaded dining area, the outdoor options will be as magnificent as the sound of magpies and other native birds singing from the established eucalypts.
Sparrow Reserve’s facilities including a tennis court are also available for use on the reserve, and while these outdoor facilities are not available for exclusive use, the proximity to the hall make the space suitable for playgroup, family & birthday gatherings which will enjoy the option of indoor space and outdoor play areas.
Weekend Hire - Applies to events/ functions held from Friday 5pm until midnight Sunday nights and on public holidays.
