Meeting Space

This meeting space is light and has beautiful timber floors. A versatile small space that benefits from all day sunshine, high ceiling and views out to the garden space. It has a kitchenette, own toilet and accessible deck which is ideal for overflowing onto. This space has it's own entrance so is very suitable for use outside our normal open hours as no building management fee is required.

The space is perfect for meetings, workshops, presentations, classes, seminars, meet ups, coaching and community groups. It's also a great space for private celebrations like baby showers, birthday parties and hen parties.

This space can be used as an addition to the performance theatre as a breakout space.

This meeting space is situated at UXBRIDGE Arts & Culture, a community arts and performance hub in the heart of Howick. UXBRIDGE has an incredible range of spaces to choose from, from small event/meeting spaces to large gallery and theatre spaces to hire. We can support everything from casual room bookings, to supporting you with full scale AV, lighting, event planning and catering.

If you’re hosting your team or customers during our normal opening hours, the foyer has plenty of room for meeting before the session and our onsite cafe can provide that all important caffeine fix.

Food & Drink

We have an onsite cafe serving delicious lunch options, or if you need to grab and go, we have super tasty counter options.

We can also specifically cater your event. We can work with you on morning tea & lunch options to suit your budget. Just message us for details.

The cafe is licensed, and we can sell your guests alcohol. Arrangements can be made for you to self cater but this should be discussed before booking the space.

Location & Access:

The centre is located minutes from Howick village town centre. Access is at the front of the building. Howick is connected to Auckland’s CBD via bus and ferry and bus stops are located on either end of Picton Street. There are also bus connections from Manukau & South Auckland and local services within East Auckland

The meeting room and toilets are fully wheelchair accessible.

Parking:

UXBRIDGE shares a small car park with the Early Learning Centre, comprising 7 parking spaces (including two disabled parking spots) and a drop-off zone. You may use the drop-off zone before your class to drop off any materials you have and park nearby.

There is all day parking along Uxbridge Road as well as in the car park across the road next to Bolliwood restaurant and the car park opposite the Monterey Cinema on Fencible Drive. There is also parking along Selwyn Road and The Glebe, accessible via the Selwyn Road pathway, which leads directly to the UXBRIDGE Studios.
