About this space
At Remuera Baptist Church, we love to invite the community to use our range of spaces for classes, meetings, concerts, community events, and other functions.
The hall is ample and unfilled, 14.5m x 9.7m, with wooden floors. It is excellent for dance lessons, other classes, children’s activities, and functions. When seminar-style chairs are set up, they can also seat up to 100. Please note that no alcohol can be consumed on the premises.

Rules
Please note that the Remuera Baptist church Spaces are only available for community events (not commercial events), and RBC will accept or decline all bookings.
Space Rules:
No alcoholic beverages can be served or consumed on the property.
No smoking on the property.
You are responsible for all breakages that occur during your use. Breakages or any damage must be reported to our Property Manager.
The reasonable behaviour of all persons and ensuring that no excessive noise occurs.
Ensuring that nothing is attached to the walls of the auditorium or lounge.
When vacating the premises, ensure cleanliness, i.e., wipe down all the tables and keep the floor clean. Keep the kitchen tidy, wash and put away dishes, remove and take away rubbish, and leave the upstairs and downstairs toilets clean. Arrange spaces as they were found.

When vacating the building, ensure the premises are secure by locking the doors, shutting the windows, and turning off the lights, heaters, and appliances.
For regular users, prompt payments are appreciated per arrangement with the office administrator.
No audiovisual or sound equipment may be used in the main auditorium or lounge without the approval of an RBC technician.
RBC accepts no liability for damage to or loss of property stored on our premises. The user is responsible for insurance for such property.
A basic first-aid kit is located in the kitchen.
Please familiarise yourselves with the location of fire alarms and Fire Action notices throughout the facility. In the event of a fire, please call 111 immediately and evacuate the building. The evacuation meeting point is in the car park.
Bond prices for hiring are event-dependent and will be issued at the church's discretion, agreed upon by the mutual parties.
RBC reserves the right to amend these conditions of use.
Additional details
A car park is attached to the church, and roadside parking is available. Please check the roadside parking restriction and comply accordingly.
Our resource consent stipulates that the car park next to the church is reserved for the sole use of our kindergarten and childcare from Monday through Friday, as displayed on the sign outside. These times are 8-9:30 a.m., 12-12:30 p.m., and 2:30-3:45 p.m. Therefore, our users cannot enter or exit the car park during these times.
