About this space
The Youth & Family Services Centre is conveniently located on Abernethy Road and features a Training Room that is suitable for meetings, training sessions and small seminars. The room is approximately 8m x 10m (80sqm) and has a vinyl floor. The hire of this space includes 60 chairs and 10 trestle tables (1800mm x 750mm). There is ducted air conditioning (heating & cooling).
Included in your hire is a Kitchen (shared with adjoining offices at the Centre) which includes a fridge/freezer, small oven/stove, auto boiler urn, microwave and servery to the Training Room. Hirers are required to bring their own plates/cutlery/cookware/cleaning equipment. The Kitchen is to be used for warming up food purposes only.
Items such as TV's, projectors, audio/visual equipment and also cleaning equipment etc. are not provided and not available for hire through the City. Hirers have to supply all their own required equipment. There is a small whiteboard available for use but markers are not provided.

If booking for Friday or Saturday night, an additional Function Rate for bookings after 6 pm will apply. This will need to be selected as an extra item and if not selected will be applied before your booking is approved.
NB: Evidence for eligibility for any discounted rates will be validated by the City of Belmont.

Rules
- No 18th-21st birthday party, after ball party, hens/bucks party or raves are allowed
- Booking times must include your setup and pack down time
- A Bond of up to $1500 may be applied to your booking
- Your access cards will have access 15 minutes prior to your booking time and 45 minutes after your booking time to carry out cleaning. The Hirer is required to bring their own cleaning equipment (i.e. broom, mop, bucket, dust pan & brush) to ensure all cleaning duties are carried out
- ACCESS/KEY CARD PICK UP REMINDER. Access keys/cards must be picked up from the Civic Centre the business day prior to your booking date, between the hours of 8:30am-4:00pm. If your booking is for Saturday or Sunday, the card will need to be picked up from the Civic Centre on the Friday. If you fail to do this and security is called to arrange your entry you will be charged $65 call out fees for the entry and lock up

- No alcohol shall be brought into or consumed upon any portion of any facility or property except when permitted in writing by the City
- The City’s venues are multiuse facilities. There may be other users using other rooms at the time of your booking. Please be considerate to other users at all times
Additional details
There is a large carpark out the front of the building.
Misuse of ACROD bays will attract a $500 Infringement. Rangers are monitoring illegal use of ACROD bays.
