About this space
This is a self-guided space. Please read the Multimedia Recording Suite Terms and Conditions of Use and view the Virtual Tour prior to making a booking.
Our Multimedia Recording Suite allows users of all skill levels to both record and edit audio and visual content such as music, voiceovers, podcasts, presentations, video auditions and vlogs.
For those with limited recording experience, the Suite features a simple one-touch preset system that is integrated with a SMARTboard and Learning Glass, plus green and black screens for adding post-production effects.
A separate digital mixer is available for more advanced users. Hire of the Suite includes use of a supplied laptop with REAPER production software, and an additional PC equipped with Audacity and Wondershare Filmora editing apps.
Users must supply their own suitable storage devices. It is strongly recommended that an empty device is used each time. Suitable devices can be purchased at the Library Shop.
The Suite has a capacity of 15, which includes a maximum of 3 people in the Editing Room. Please consider space required for instruments, equipment etc. in the live room, which will impact how many people fit comfortably in that space.
