About this space
City of Kwinana Community Bus seats a maximum of 25 people, including the driver.
To drive the bus you require a LR bus license. If you are carrying paying passengers, you require a passenger transport driver (PTD) authorisation on the driver's license.
The Community Bus is available to hire for community, commercial and local groups only. This bus is not available for private use.
The bus cannot be kept overnight or be taken further than a 100km radius from Kwinana.
To hire the bus, keys are collected from the Kwinana Recquatic before your booking and the bus is then collected from Ridleys Towing & Transport Services, located on Holden Road Bertram, upon presentation of the confirmation.
The height of the bus is 2.63m
The vehicle has a low gear ratio and care should be taken in selecting gears so that the engine is not over worked.

Rules
The Community Bus seats a maximum of 25 people, including the driver.
An LR license is required to drive the bus; a photocopy of the driver’s license is required for the booking.
If you are carrying paying passengers, you require a passenger transport driver (PTD) authorisation on the driver's license.
The bus is only available to groups located in Kwinana. This bus is not available for private use.
Not available for overnight hire and is only available for hire until midnight.
The bus cannot be taken further than a 100km radius from Kwinana.
Food, drinks or Liquor consumption on the Community Bus is strictly prohibited.
The Driver of the bus must have an alcohol reading of 0 – Any driver caught driving under the influence of alcohol will be fined.
The bus must be returned with a full tank of fuel, additional charges plus the cost of filling the tank will apply if this is not adhered to.
Additional fees may occur after the hire if the bus is damaged, not cleaned or used for additional hours.
Additional details
Parking is available on Robbos Way with additional parking along Darius Drive when collecting key from Kwinana Recquatic Centre.
There is also parking at Ridleys Towing & Transport Services, on Holden Road Bertram when collecting the Community Bus.
Please do not park on verges or footpaths.
