The City of Belmont is a local government area in the inner eastern suburbs of the Western Australian capital city of Perth, located about 8 kilometres east of Perth's central business district on the south bank of the Swan River. About this space

Rivervale Community Centre features a large Main Hall, Meeting Room 2/3 and 2 small Meeting Rooms.
Meeting Room 2/3 is recommended for smaller family functions such as children’s parties due to the room having an enclosed play area attached.

Eligibility for different fees and charges:

  • Not for Profit Groups can use the discount code MAIN-NFP at checkout

  • If booking for Friday or Saturday night, an additional Function Rate for bookings after 6 pm will apply. This will need to be selected as an extra item and if not selected will be applied before your booking is approved.

NB: Evidence for eligibility for any discounted rates will be validated by the City of Belmont.

Rules

- Applications must be made no less than 7 days prior to the booking date

- No 18th-21st birthday party, after ball party, hens/bucks party or raves are allowed

- Booking times must include your setup and pack down time

- A Bond of up to $1500 may be applied to your booking

- Your access cards will have access 15 minutes prior to your booking time and 45 minutes after your booking time to carry out cleaning. The Hirer is required to bring their own cleaning equipment (i.e. broom, mop, bucket, dust pan & brush) to ensure all cleaning duties are carried out

- Access keys/cards must be picked up from the Civic Centre the business day prior to your booking date, between the hours of 8:30am-4:00pm

- Strictly no smoking

- No anti-social behaviour

- No alcohol shall be brought into or consumed upon any portion of any facility or property except when permitted in writing by the City

- The City’s venues are multiuse facilities. There may be other users using other rooms at the time of your booking. Please be considerate to other users at all times

Parking and Public Transport Information

There is a small carpark on Francisco Street (14bays) & street parking on Gerring Ct & Surrey Rd

Misuse of ACROD bays will attract a $500 Infringement. Rangers are monitoring illegal use of ACROD bays.
