It is located in the Peel Region about 80 kilometres south of the Perth central business district. The Shire extends across the Peel Inlet and the Swan Coastal Plain into the Darling Scarp, including about 77,000 hectares of State forests. The Murray River flows all year throughout the district. The Shire is centred in the town of Pinjarra, one of the oldest towns in WA.

The new centre will enhance the quality of life for Ravenswood residents by providing a welcoming and interactive meeting place that will encourage local people to be active, involved in their communities, and to connect.
The centre includes a main function space with smart tv (please bring your own HDMI cable for presentations), storage space and amenities. A heat-and-serve kitchen that is equipped with a full sized fridge/freezer, oven, urn, kettle, microwave, domestic dishwasher, crockery and cutlery.

Chairs: 70
The meeting room has tables and chairs and a smart screen on the wall (please remember to bring a HDMI cable for presentations onto the screen).
There is also an alfresco area, an outdoor space, and a playground.

Rules
Set-up, cleaning and pack-up must be included in booking times, additional charges may be applied for post-event cleaning
Keys can be collected from the Shire Administration Building one day prior and must be returned on the first working day following your booking. If your booking is on a weekend, you must collect the key on the Friday during office hours.
Permit to Consume Alcohol on Shire Property required for alcohol consumption
If selling alcohol, an Occasional Liquor Licence must be obtained through the Department of Racing, Gaming & Liquor
No open flames permitted
The premises must be left clean and tidy with all rubbish must be removed from the premises
