Seaside Share Place, beautifully situated in the coastal Seaside estate at Madora Bay, stands as a beacon of community collaboration and connection. Initially designed as the Seaside Sales Office, the rear of the building has been imaginatively transformed into a temporary community gathering space.
With its focus on enriching local community life and fostering connections, Seaside Share Place offers the perfect venue for a wide array of activities. From meetings and workshops to fitness classes, as well as engaging community endeavours like craft groups, book clubs, and mother’s groups, the Share Place provides a welcoming environment.
While Seaside Share Place is committed to community enrichment and is not available for private social functions, its doors are open to all who seek a vibrant space to connect, collaborate, and create. We require a bond of $100 for all casual bookings.

Rules
Availability
The Seaside Share Place is available from 6am to 8pm, 7 days per week.
Bookings outside of these hours may be considered, depending on the type of activity. We need to keep in mind that we are in a residential area and need to be wary of any noise generated!
Noise restrictions are also in place from 12noon- 5pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. This is because the space is shared with the Seaside Sales Team, who work in the front half of the building during these times. Quiet groups wishing to book during these times will be considered.
Restrictions of use
The following are not permitted at the Seaside Share Place (or anywhere on the grounds):
Private celebrations or gatherings (e.g., birthday parties)
Smoking or vaping
Confetti, rice, glitter or party poppers
Balloon releases
By application only
The following may be permissible for use on the grounds by incorporated groups (those who hold public liability insurance only). Permission must be sought from Satterley for the use of:
Small shade marquees
Amusement rides such as bouncy castles
Animal farms and pony rides
Bonds
A bond may be requested to cover any damage caused by users and to cover the cost of cleaning fees and repairs, should this be required. Bonds will be refunded at the end of the calendar month following the booking. Please refer to the Terms of Use and Seaside Share Place user guidelines below regarding expectations for cleaning.
Safety
The User is responsible for following any applicable emergency and evacuation procedures. These are located within the Seaside Share Place.
The User and its Guests who are the parents or guardian of any children, are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of those children at all times.
The User and its Guests are responsible for the security of all personal belongings.
Housekeeping
Please follow the departure checklist (located in the kitchen and a copy below) prior to leaving the building.
The Facility must be left in a condition that is clean, neat, and tidy, consistent with the condition at the commencement of the use. Basic cleaning products and equipment are supplied and are kept in the kitchen.
After each use, the User must:
- Bathroom
Sweep floor and pick up any paper towels/toilet paper etc off the floor
Wipe down hand basin if necessary
Clean the toilet bowl if necessary
Replace toilet paper if necessary
Remove rubbish from rubbish bin and place in wheelie bins outside
- Kitchen
Wash, dry and put away any crockery and cutlery that has been used
Sweep floor
Wipe inside and outside of microwave if necessary
Remove rubbish from rubbish bin
Wipe down sink and counter tops
Remove any food/drink stored in the fridge and wipe any spills
- Main area
Sweep floor
Remove rubbish from rubbish bin and place in wheelie bin outside
Wipe down any surfaces including table, coffee table, trestle tables (and chairs if necessary)
Return any furniture to their original position if they have been moved
Return trestle tables and chairs to the inside storage area
• Before leaving:
Turn off the lights, heating, and air conditioning
Shut and lock windows and doors, including the outdoor storage area
Arm the alarm
Return the key to the lock box
