Ponsonby Community Centre - Johnny Mitchell Hall

The Johnny Mitchell Hall is connected to the Freda Stark Hall by concertina doors and is an ideal space for family occasions with a large kitchen and several bathrooms in the foyer. It is wheelchair accessible and has a small deck and stairs down to an outdoor space. The hall can be used for dance classes, meditation groups, Yoga, kids drama, school holiday programmes, corporate events and launches, gaming events, market days, kids birthday parties, baby showers etc. We are right next door to Tole park reserve which gives you some extra outdoor space to play with.
We do not hire the space out for evening parties with alcohol. Street parking only
