SpacetoCo Host since February 2025No.3 Roskill Theatre Trust was established in 2020 to create opportunities for artistic expression and a scene for young people in Mt Roskill to practice, engage with the arts. No.3 Roskill Theatre Company are one such young group who have been able to create and show their original devising and provide creative leadership both in Mt Roskill, and further afield. No.3 Trust hosts the Creative space / Blackbox Theatre located at 1234 and works to provide access to space to other young creatives.

No.3 Roskill Theatre is opening its doors at 1234 Dominion Road, Mt Roskill, to creative groups who are looking for a space to develop their work.
For theatre groups and performance groups, music tutors, or creative workshops, this is a beautiful space with a generous rehearsal/development black-box space, smaller break-out rooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen.
The main theatre space is fitted with theatre drapes rigged on truss, and includes stage decks (available for use, please discuss requirements on booking). The space is wheelchair accessible from street level, including an accessible bathroom at ground level. Downstairs (internal access) a kitchen and smaller break-out rooms are also available and can be hired separately and accessed via a back door. There are chairs, trestle tables, and a speaker at the venue available to hire on request.
Please note this venue is alcohol free. You are welcome to bring your own catering, please ensure all rubbish is removed at the end of your hire and messes are cleaned up.
Though we have a capacity of around 70 people, we are not able to run ticketed events. Your audience are able to attend as guests offering koha or donations. You are more than welcome to ask any attending guests for a donation or to host programmes or workshops that people have subscribed to.
Pricing Information - Main Theatre 10m x 7.4m
Advertised hourly rates ($25 per hour) are non-commercial rates. If you are a commercial entity (eg Limited Company, or Production Company) or Government body; please add the commercial top up fee when making your booking.
If making a booking within 48 hours of your booking time, please add an "Urgent booking fee" ($10) when making your booking.
Cleaning fee - if you can commit to leaving the venue as you found it great! If you cannot commit to leaving it tidy and clean please select cleaning fee when making your booking.
Please note for groups of 40+ people we ask that you do add the "Cleaning Fee" ($80) to your booking.
If your use will require heavy power use (eg Production and/or film crew) please add "Heavy power use" ($40) to your booking.
Venue can be hired outside of standard opening hours, please contact us directly to discuss if this is something you are interested in.

Rules
Please use and enjoy this space and if you have booked use of the whole building you are also welcome to use the kitchen downstairs including plates, cutlery etc. Please leave it clean and tidy after use, dishes in the dishwasher, rubbish in the bins provided and no food left in the fridges.
This venue is alcohol free, please be respectful of this and do not bring in alcohol.
Additional details
1234 Dominion Road does not have its own parking. There is free parking on the streets, and a free public carpark across the road from the venue. Being on Dominion Road and very close to Mt Albert Road the venue is serviced by a busy bus schedule.
