Woodworking Space

Check out West Auckland's RE: MAKER SPACE which is a hub that delivers practical, creative and innovative pathways that unlock value from localised waste streams and regenerates our living systems. Creating the epicentre for a movement that will connect our creative community and green entrepreneurs to ideas, resources, equipment and education to support a sustainable, low carbon way of living.

RE: MAKER SPACE has a separate woodworking area, sewing room and creative space to work from. You enter through the communal kitchen/ refillery area where our creative hang out and inspire one another. Then members can enter the woodworking space through a swipe card or casual users can head upstairs to our creative space through the sewing room. The space is set up for teaching and creating with materials that already exist with a focus on wood and textiles.

The Woodworking Space can be rented by members only who have passed a H&S induction. is open to the public for casual or regular hire but our equipment can only be used by members through our onboarding processes.

The Woodworking Space can be rented by members only who have passed a H&S induction. To spread out and work on projects, we recommend a maximun of 10 people at one time. The room hire includes use of tools & equipment but users must bring in their own materials ie sandpaper, screws etc.

All members need to be inducted via online learning plus attend Power Tools 101, 102 sessions.

This space can be used for; workshops, meetings, fashion courses, woodworking courses, yoga & pilates, and classes for children.
