About this space
The Kitchen sits at the heart of Apopo Studios' and is flooded with natural light during the day. The tables and chairs can be arranged for functions and workshops, and the data projector makes the space perfect for presentations. The Kitchen is a common area for Apopo Studios, and so we'd recommend bookings are for events that are open to all, or that can tolerate people using the kitchen facilities. The large white wall is great for displays, and access to the balcony is perfect as a breakout space or for those needing a quick breath of fresh air.
The Studios are all available for regular hire! We have reduced rates for regular bookings, message us through this page to discuss what you need. Regular bookings are invoiced monthly.
We're happy to promote events, workshops and exhibitions held in Apopo Studios through our social media and email database.

Rules
For commercial hirers, there is a weeknight and weekend surcharge that is automatically added to your booking. This is to help ensure access for our community users. All hirage fees help support community access to our facilities and events.
You are welcome to decorate Apopo Studios for your shoot, workshop, event or exhibition. Please note the space you've hired must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Talk to us about our cleaning options if you don't fancy cleaning up yourself. It's fine to use an external event hire company if you want to bring your own furniture, table cloths, drapes etc. All decorations, props and anything else you have brought in for your shoot, workshop, event or exhibition must be removed by the end of your booking. If required, we have a limited amount of temporary storage available for an additional fee. Please make sure your booking includes the time you need to set up, pack down and clean as the Studio may be used directly before or after you.

If you trigger a false fire alarm, you may be charged an additional fee if the fire service are called.
