About this space
Gymnastics WA is committed to the safety, wellbeing, and empowerment of all children and young people accessing our programs and services including indigenous children, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children and adults with disability. Gymnastics WA, together with Gymnastics Australia has a zero tolerance approach to any form of child abuse. We support the rights of children and we will act immediately to ensure an environment is maintained where children and all participants feel safe, respected, valued, and empowered at all times.
Gymnastics Hall 1 is available for hire to accredited Gymnastics Clubs to run gymnastics-specific programs, training sessions, inter-club competitions and performance displays. Hall 1 is set up specifically with Women and Men's Gymnastics apparatus, with appropriate safety matting and other supplementary equipment such as spring boards and spotting boxes. Cheerleading Clubs may also hire Gym Hall 1 to use for performance displays, utilising the gymnastics floor only. Spectator seating can accommodate up to 425 guests.

The State Gymnastics Centre is available for casual hire to Gymnastics Clubs as Members or Non-Members.
Gymnastics Hall 1 can be hired for performance displays and/or inter-club competitions, this will be charged at an Event rate with a spectator cleaning fee applied. A minimum booking time of 3 hours will be applied to all events. Bookings for events, competitions, and performance displays that include spectators will incur a cleaning fee.
All general cleaning equipment including vacuum, mops, brooms, and wet floor signs can be found in the back corner of the storeroom next to the cleaning cupboard. The mop buckets can be found at the bottom of the shelving unit next to the tables. Towels can also be found next to the freezer.
The State Gymnastics Centre is wheelchair accessible, with the venue having access ramps and the Loftus Centre having accessible changerooms and facilities

Rules
No heels or rough footwear are permitted.
No equipment is to be brought into the State Gymnastics Centre (SGC) and no responsibility will be taken for any equipment that is not owned by Gymnastics WA.
Athletes may only use the equipment when under the supervision of an accredited coach.
All equipment and mats must be carried around the gym, not dragged.
All equipment must be returned to its correct place after each session.
Running is not permitted in the gym unless instructed by a coach.
Food and drink (other than water) must not be consumed in the gym halls. Water bottles are permitted.
Viewing areas excluded.
All rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided and all spills cleaned up.
Parents and Spectators must remain in the viewing areas only.
Children not involved in the event/training must remain under the supervision and control of an adult and remain within the viewing area.
Children are not permitted to swing on the barrier rails.

Additional details
3-hour FREE parking is available at the Loftus Recreation carpark from Monday to Friday and 5-hour parking on weekends. Please ensure you display a ticket as directed by the City of Vincent signage.
The Loftus Recreation Centre is also within walking distance from Leederville train station and bus routes.
