SpacetoCo Host since February 2023William Langford Community House is based in the suburb of Langford within the City of Gosnells and is located very close to the City of Canning border. We are based on the main street in Langford and close to Spencer Road and Nicholson Road. We have off road parking available along with many other facilities and public transport is easily accessible from the centre. We are a not for profit organisation so every rental with us assists us to continue to support the community.
About this space
The transportable is a seperate space to the main building and has a few steps for access. The room is self contained with water facilities however toilets are placed in the main building. The room is suitable for seminars, workshops, craft sessions and teaching programs. There is a white board available and a portable projector can be set up if required. The room can accommodate up to 28 people.
Hirers of the centre also have access to the following amenities within the hire:
· Toilets including an accessible toilet and junior toilet
· WiFi
· Off street parking for up to 18 vehicles
· Air conditioning/ heating (in rooms)
In centre operating hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm (these times are changeable), access will be available through paid staff, on site.
Out of hours access will be given with the allocation of keys following induction.

Rules
Space rules
· No alcohol to be consumed on site.
· Cleaning of booked/ used spaces is expected after use including the emptying of bins.
· A check of all spaces booked and used (including toilets) is expected by the booking person prior to leaving the building to check for any electrical appliances or water outlets left on.
· Site MUST be left secure after use (internal doors, external doors and gates)
· No private party bookings will be accepted including children's parties, birthdays.
· Bond is payable in full at least 2 weeks prior to booking date.
· All hirers must have public liability insurance, and a copy of the cover must be provided prior to the first booked date.
· Any bookings that go outside of the centre staffed hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3pm, an adult, preferably the booking person, must attend the centre prior to the booking to complete an induction and to collect keys.
· Any damage caused during the booked time slot by the booked group, through misdemeanour or intention, will be required to be covered in full by the booking person, based on quotations for the repairs or rectification, in a timely manner.
· Bookings made that go outside of their booked time, maybe charged a fee of $15 per each 15-minute period over the bump out time slot. (for example, a booking that ends at 1pm, will be charged $15 if they left at 1:30pm considering the 15-minute bump out time slot).
· Information on activities that are being held during the booking, especially outside of centre hours, will be expected so that we are able to consider the neighbours wellbeing.
· Hirers are responsible for the participants of their group and their safety, with special consideration to children’s groups.
Additional costs may be applied following the booking as per below.
Call out fees for staff attendance on site $75
Additional cleaning fees if not completed $40 per space booked (if you book 3 rooms your cleaning fee will be $120.00).
Replacement costs of items not accounted for after the booking has completed will be billed once replacement prices are obtained.
Repair costs for damage caused during booking time by either intention or misdemeanour, will be based on quotes to repair to original condition.
Additional details
Parking and public transport information
We have on-site parking available for centre users, including disabled bays, for up to 18 cars.
There is plenty of additional parking available at the shopping area (not at the doctor’s surgery or pharmacy directly next door) just a short 2-minute walk down the road from the centre or across the road off Nightjar Lane.
Public transport is easily accessible from the centre, and we are based on Langford Avenue with the bus route running to Thornlie or Cannington train stations and just a 10-minute walk to Thornlie train station.
