Our shire also boasts walking trails, locally-grown food & wine, numerous dining options, extensive accommodation, galleries, markets and festivals.
About this space
Lake Daylesford is only available to be booked for wedding ceremonies (maximum three hour duration). We are unable to accept bookings for any other private event at this location. If you have any queries, please contact Hepburn Shire Council.
Lake Daylesford is a man-made lake originally constructed in 1927. It is a short walk from the centre of Daylesford and boasts magnificent views across the water. Enjoy a meal at the nearby cafe and restaurant, sample some of the famous mineral water from the Wombat Flat and Central Springs and discover the walking trails around this beautiful area.

Rules
Wedding permits are issued for three (3) hours duration.
No alcohol may be consumed between the hours of 10:00pm and 10:00am
All litter generated is to be removed by the hirer at the conclusion of the ceremony. Some public litter bins are located and available for all users of the reserve but must not be overloaded.
The use of confetti or rice is prohibited. Rose petals are permitted in moderation.
Public and pedestrian access to the reserve must be maintained at all times
Please abide by any public/road signage in the reserve
Any dogs must be on lead at all times
