About this space
Manning Park is a popular destination for families, tourists and other members of the community.
Situated north of Azelia Road at Hamilton Hill, the reserve encompasses Manning Lake and the limestone ridge to the west of the wetlands and is part of the Beeliar Regional Park. The reserve boasts significant flora and fauna within the lake and it's surrounding wetland areas as well as open spaces to hold your wedding ceremony and diverse photograph opportunities.
As Cockburn's largest and most prestigious park to host major events, Manning Park has the facilities to cater for a wide range of outings and occasions.
Manning Lake Reserve boasts significant flora and fauna within the lake itself and in the surrounding wetland areas, as well as open spaces and recreational areas perfect for picnics or walks around the lake.
The reserve also contains the Azelia Ley Homestead Museum and the Alan Thomas Music Shell, an open-air venue which is suitable for various performances.
At various times of the year, Manning Park hosts a number of community events, including the Spring Fair and the City's annual Teddy Bears Picnic.

The park is open between 7am and 7pm daily.
Making a booking at this space is notification of Usage only. As a park or reserve is a public open space, the City cannot restrict the use of an area to any one group. Please refer to the Parks Usage FAQ’s and Parks Usage Terms & Conditions. A $1 booking fee is applicable however this will be refunded upon approval.
Park Usage Notification is encouraged to enable us to manage multiple bookings at the same space.
Depending on what amusements you are bringing into the park, a bond may be applicable

An application should be submitted at the hirer’s earliest convenience, ideally a minimum of 10 days prior to the required date;
