Please wear a life jacket while using the chair.

Please do not leave the chair unattended especially near water or sloping ground.
The chair is not designed to move up and down stairs while loaded.
The chair is suitable for many surfaces including sand and some hiking paths. However please do not use the chair on uneven terrain or on steep slopes as it could tip over.
The chair is designed to be used at the waters edge and is stable with water levels at around the centre of the rear wheels (about 24cm or 10 inches).
Please take into consideration any specific issues related to the disability of the user which may affect the use of the chair.
10. Please follow the directions of the City of Fremantle if they are in attendance and be aware the beach is not constantly patrolled by surf lifesaving or any other persons. Noting the chair is to be used within the confines of Leighton Beach.
USER INSTRUCTIONS:
- To apply the park brake:
Steady the chair and release the parking brake/anti-tip bar from the nylon clip. Swing the bar down towards the rear wheels. Place your foot centrally on the anti-tip bar and push it forward onto the tyres. This will then depress the surface of the tyre. The locking bar needs to be engaged to prevent accidental release of the park brake and anti-tip bar.
- To release the park brake:
Steady the chair; lift the locking bar upwards to release the park brake. Swing the parking brake/anti-tip bar upwards and return it to the nylon clip.
- Adjusting front foot rest:
The angle and height of the foot rest can be altered using the locking handles fitted to either side of the front pivot point. To adjust height, release the locking handle on both sides and turn in an anti-clockwise motion. Adjust footrest height to the preferred position and re-lock the footrest by rotating the locking handle in a clockwise direction.
