About this space
The recently renovated Subud Community Centre is a light, bright and spacious venue perfect for a range of low impact activities.
When you hire the centre you get exclusive use of the whole premises. This includes the large hall with a sprung wooden floor and attached kitchen, and the social room with a kitchenette and lovely private outdoor courtyard. The main hall is 9.5m x 18.5m with a total floor area of 175 square metres. The venue also features air conditioning, heating, free wifi and disability access.
The centre can accommodate up to 99 people, or 60 seated, for group activities such as training, workshops, yoga, meditation, and community events. The main hall has an acoustic ceiling ideal for choirs or intimate musical performances.
There is small modern well-equipped kitchen with the option of removing a partition to connect it to the main hall providing an excellent set-up for tea/coffee breaks and light lunches.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, an electric induction stove, fridge and cutlery, plates and cups.
The hall has two unisex toilets. One is accessible from inside the hall and the other is accessible from the rear foyer.
The building is disability friendly, with a disabled parking bay which is located at the rear of the hall very close to the ramp into the building. Ramps are available at the front and rear of the hall.
The centre is not currently available for weddings or parties.
We also offer discounts for not for profit groups, weekday bookings and multiple bookings.
Please do get in contact if you have any questions or would like a tour of our space!
