About this space
Daylesford Town Hall was built between 1883-85 by the builder, George Clayfield, to the design of architect George R. Johnson. The hall contains a seated balcony and large floor space, as well as a stage. Full seated capacity including balcony seating is approx. 400 people.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to planned construction works at the Daylesford Town Hall site, bookings for this facility will NOT BE ACCEPTED after 15th September 2024, until further notice.

Rules
The Town Hall must be left in a clean and tidy condition after your event, ready for the next user.
No decorations will be permitted unless they can be installed without damage to the walls, floors, ceiling or fittings.
Any additional items brought into the Town Hall must have legs or surfaces that will not damage the floor.
No use of glitter, paint, wax or other items that may damage the floor or surfaces is permitted.
Set up of any tables and chairs is the sole responsibility of the hirer.
Any tables and chairs must be returned to their stored/stacked position when leaving the venue.
Make sure all lights, heaters and other appliances are switched off when leaving the venue.
The Town Hall must be securely locked when leaving the venue.

Additional details
Free parking is available in Central Springs Road and Bridport Street located at the side and rear of the hall. Limited signed parking (1 hr & 2 hr) parking is available at the front of the hall in Vincent Street.
There is no metered parking or private car parks in Daylesford.
The V-line Bus Stop is located in Bridport Street, Daylesford (at the rear of the Daylesford Town Hall)
