Darlington Main Hall

The Main Hall, constructed in the 1960s, is a captivating and timeless space that combines modern amenities with classic charm. With its stage, stunning jarrah floors, and rich history, it's a venue that lends an air of elegance to a wide range of events and gatherings.

Important Information

The venue can only be accessed within the times booked. Your booking time must include all set up and pack up which includes all deliveries and collections.

Any bookings finishing at midnight are allowed one hour for pack-up and cleaning free of charge until 1:00 a.m. All music needs to be turned off at midnight.

The Hirer is responsible for opening and securing the building.

High-Risk Event Information

This venue is not available to be hired for high-risk events (including 16th, 18th, and 21st birthday parties).

Accessibility - The venue has three accessible parking bays at the rear of the venue and a ramp to both the Main and Lesser Halls.

There is also an automatic wheelchair lift from the Main Hall to the stage.

Toilets - Internal toilets include a male and female toilet and a unisex-accessible toilet. Male and female and accessible public toilets are located outside.

Accessible Toilet - 1 UAT outside and 1 UAT inside

Decorations

You are welcome to decorate the pavilion for your event. Please note pins, tape, or anything that would damage the pavilion walls is not permitted. Blu Tack is OK and has to be completely removed at the end of the booking.

You are responsible for leaving the facility as you found it, so all decorations must be removed.

Please no oil-based smoke machines inside or confetti, rice, or party poppers outside.
