About this space

Available to hire is the Hall at The Danish Society in Penrose, Auckland - Near Mt Smart Stadium.

About this space

The hall is a great size for larger events such as concerts, birthday parties, weddings, funerals, training workshops, dances etc. The floor is specially designed for dancing. There is a large kitchen next door which can be used free of charge for coffee and tea making when hiring this facility. There are also grassed and paved outdoor spaces easily accessible from the hall. Wheelchair access is no problem.

  • There are tables and chairs for up to 100 people, and at a stretch fits up to 200 people (there is no space for tables when 200 people are in the space).

  • The building is fire-rated for up to 250 people.

  • The hall is 16.5 x 12 meters in size and the outdoor space is approximately 5 x 15 meters.

  • The Kitchen comes equipped with most things needed for an event, such as cups, plates, cutlery, dishwasher.

  • Toilets and off-street parking are available.

  • Stage Area

  • Stereo with wireless microphone

  • A projector and 100-inch projector screen are available at an additional charge.

  • Leave the hall as you found it and clean the kitchen if used, or add the additional cleaning fee to your booking.

  • Do not use or touch the Piano unless you have paid to use it for your event.

  • Please report all breakages on the day of your booking.

  • Book enough time to set up & clear down your event.

100% refund on cancellations up until 7 days before your booking. After that, cancel and get a 50% refund.

Hire of the hall comes with 20+ off-street car parks, subject to availability and other bookings at the house at the same time.
