About this space

Klemzig Community Hall is a top spot for bigger events. It's easy to find, right off the main road, and surrounded by plenty of green space. Whether you're planning a private function or need a regular spot for an activity, this place has you covered. There’s a kitchen, a bar/servery, a small, raised stage, and a PA system – everything you need to make your event run smoothly. It’s all about bringing people together, and Klemzig's got the space to do just that. The Community Hall is right next to the Klemzig Reserve, which you can book separately if you're wanting to branch out into green open space.

We do not accept bookings within 2 weeks of the booking start date.

Bond: a $550.00 bond is required for the following event types:

What’s included in the room:

  • 37 large trestle tables (750mm x 1800mm)

  • 1 small table (800mm x800mm)

  • 160 chairs

  • Small raised stage suitable for small performances and speeches

  • PA System which includes an Aux plug, 2 x cordless microphones

  • Kitchen with a gas stove with oven, 1 x two burner griddle, 2 x four burner griddle, gas toaster grill, 2 x microwaves, commercial dishwasher, cool room and pie warmer

  • Servery/ bar with tapped boiling water and filtered cold water, drinks fridge and first aid kit

Rules

  • Council does not allow decorations, photos or posters to be taped, glued, blue-tacked or nailed to the walls or ceilings in any facility.

  • You must not exceed the capacity limit set for the space.

  • Additional cleaning, damage costs and after-hours call-out fees (where you are at fault) will be deducted from the bond.

  • Please ensure you have read the full “conditions of hire – facilities” document to understand your requirements as a hirer.

  • You’re responsible for setting up and packing up the venue – make sure your booking time includes both. When you're done, all furniture and equipment need to go back where you found it.

  • Keep the place clean and tidy and leave it as you found it. Wipe down all surfaces – tables, benches, everything. Some cleaning materials will be provided.

  • Dispose of any rubbish in the on-site bins and take any extra rubbish with you.

  • Smoking is not allowed indoors or within 10 metres of the entrance.

  • No pets or animals allowed unless a prior arrangement has been made.

  • All electrical equipment brought on site will need to be tested and tagged.

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 14 days before your booking. After that, there are no refunds on cancellation.
