Progress Castlecliff is a broad, membership based incorporated society and a registered charity with thirty years of working for better for Castlecliff. Progress Castlecliff manages the Duncan Pavilion for Whanganui Council to ensure it remains as an iconic public building in Te Kauhau-o-Kupe / Castlecliff.

About this space

Got something to sell or market? The sculpture/art park outside the Castlecliff Library and beside Citadel is actually private property that can be booked for you to setup your stall. Public fee $10/hr or free to Progress Castlecliff members for non-commercial use(Castlecliff resident or not - use choose membership in extras if you're not a 2024/25 paid member & use code CLIFFY to discount the hourly rate to $2)

So come along, pop up your gazebo on the concrete or grass, feel free to plug into the power in the garden & connect to the Castlecliff Library Wi-Fi and of course there's Citadel coffee & food, the dairy across the road and The Tide bus stop right there.

Use subject to approval so pls detail what you want to do in the booking. Please no amplified music etc likely to disturb Citadel, Library or Barbers and leave it clean and tidy. We reserve the right to charge for damage or cleanup.

$5.00 per booking

Approved Non Profit groups pay $5 for the first hire and this is waived for subsequent hires. Other users $20/hour. (the $5 first time charge ensures full details of users are collected and the space is covered for damage - see https://support.spacetoco.com/spaceprotect-for-guests).
