Bungaree Mechanics Institute Hall

The Bungaree Mechanics Hall has two spaces - the main hall and a smaller supper/meeting room for smaller functions or meetings.

A feature of the main hall is its large stage which is great for performances and concerts. The well appointed kitchen includes a wall oven, cooktop, microwave, pie warmer, urn, fridge, cutlery and crockery, ample bench space and server window to supper/meeting room. The hall and supper room have split system heating and cooling.

Bungaree Mechanics Hall is used by local community groups, private functions and events.

The facility includes a large hall with stage, supper room and kitchen facilities.

The current Bungaree Mechanics Hall was built to replace the original building which was destroyed in 1927 by a cyclone. The original Mechanics Hall was apparently the grandest building in the district and was opened in 1894. The new hall was officially opened in 1928.
