The Community Art Room is a light filled multi purpose space located upstairs at Tiwu Kumangka.
Furnished with 4 rectangular trestle tables and 24 chairs a great venue for workshops and art activities, with wonderful views over the Mitcham Hills to inspire your creativity!
There are additional chairs available, for flexible room use.
Amenities in this space include art sink, fitted screen (please BYO device & HDMI cord) and drop down power outlets.
The $11/hr fee applies to City of Mitcham residents, low cost community groups, City of Mitcham businesses (with premises in council area), Not for Profit groups & Government organisations.
A surcharge applies for non City of Mitcham residents/businesses or commercial out of area entities.
The Art Room can be booked separately or in combination with the adjoining the Colab Room, please hire both areas if this is required.
This space is currently bookable during Blackwood Library opening hours Monday - Friday.
