In partnership with Life Saving Victoria and a number of local Life Saving Clubs, The Great Ocean Road Coast & Parks Authority deliver Accessible Beaches at six locations along the Great Ocean Road during peak season. This includes beach/river access matting, beach wheelchairs, beach walkers, accessible parking and toilets. About this space

Anglesea riverbank now has beach access matting, a beach walker and a changing place (MLAK key required). The riverbank walking paths and some playground elements are also universally accessible. The riverbank and access matting is designed as a quiet space to enjoy nature that is less busy than other areas for people who may experience sensory overload at busier beach areas.

Our beach walker is a Wheeleez beach all terrain beach walker which has large pneumatic tyres, brakes and fold down seat. The walker is suitable for access to the beach and surrounding areas but is not suitable for swimming.
