This includes beach/river access matting, beach wheelchairs, accessible parking and toilets. About this space
Location: Fishermans Beach
The Mobi-Beach beach wheelchair is available for hire from Jan to mid-April, between 7am and 3pm. The wheelchair can be hired for up 2 hours per booking to ensure greater access to all potential hirers.
This location is not patrolled and swimming or entry to the water is not recommended.

Rules
Please note, if you are making this request after 3pm on a Friday, it will not be actioned until next business day. If the request is for a weekend booking or for hire within 24 hours, please call The Authority Reception on 1300 736 533.
The Hirer must have one (1) support person on the day to operate the Mobi-Chair Beach Wheelchair and/or hoist.
If you require use of a hoist, you will be required to provide your own sling.
The hoist will be used in an open environment. If this is not suitable, please contact us on 1300 736 533 to make alternative arrangements.
The maximum weight limit of the chair & hoist is 150kg.
The Mobi-Chair is not intended for areas with current or strong waves.
Please be aware that the beach wheelchair doesn't fit into disabled toilets due to extra wide wheels.
How to hire:
Complete the booking application online
Wait for your booking to be approved.
Check your email for confirmation.
Organise at least one carer to assist.
Head to the location at the booking time.
Have fun at the beach!
