Please note that bookings will not be processed from Friday, 20 December 2024 until staff return on Monday, 6 January 2025.
The Willagee Community Centre is a vibrant community centre that hosts a wide range of community programs and events. There is a Main Hall, Activity Room and Playgroup Room which are offered at affordable prices for individuals or groups wanting to run community activities.
Private social gatherings are not permitted except for children's parties under the age of 12 years. Bookings should be made at least 7 days in advance to ensure timely approval, as those made later may not be processed in time.

Rules
By confirming this booking you agree that:
· Bookings should be made at least 7 days in advance to ensure timely approval, as those made later may not be processed in time.
· The facility is only used during the times specified above
· The facility is left in a clean and tidy state
· Set up and pack away/clean up is done within the time of your hire period, not outside of the booking time
· Children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times
· You are mindful of noise levels emanating from the facility
· You will supply your own first Aid Kit, as there are none accessible on site
· All doors are kept clear - to enable clear access in an emergency, do not put any furniture or other items in front of any door in the Centre.
· You report any damage that you notice on entry to the venue, and any damage that occurs during your session.
· If you are the last to leave, you turn off the lights and air conditioner, pack furniture away, turn on alarm and lock door and put key back into the key lock box
· No private events or parties will be approved with the exception of children’s birthday parties (Under age 12)
· Alcohol is not to be brought on site, except in some exceptional circumstances which have been discussed with and approved by staff, and a liquor license has been obtained
· Public Liability: Commercial ventures, sporting clubs, church groups and hirers with more than 12 casual bookings under the same account are required to hold public liability insurance. Please upload a copy of your insurance cover to your Spacetoco account
· All Centre users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City against any loss, liability, damage, or demand, arising from connection with the booking application and/ or use of the facilities. In case of any accident or injury, be aware that you are personally responsible for any cost that may be incurred as a result, as the hirer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Melville against any loss, liability, damage, claims or demand arising from or in connection with the booking application or/and use of the facilities
Emergencies:
· Make yourself familiar with the Fire Exits and Emergency Evacuation Procedure
· You are responsible for ensuring the safe evacuation of all persons in the room they have hired
