About this space
Welcome to Wauwi Inparrila – Light Square Meeting Place - a welcoming and well-equipped community space owned by Housing Choices SA (HCSA). Located on Kaurna Land, Wauwi Inparrila is in the heart of the city at 11 Mellor Street, Adelaide. HCSA manage friendly, accessible places that foster relationships between residents, the broader community and contribute to community well-being.
Booking approval will prioritise strengths-based projects that actively promote social inclusion, capacity building, sustainability and community leadership.
Wauwi Inparrila comprises of two large bookable spaces (Front and Back), joined via a private courtyard. A third office space equipped with computers is accessible via Wauwi Inparrila's Front Room.
A tiered pricing system enables free use for bookings which provide free community access and discount rates for Not-For-Profit organisations.
Please note, Wauwi Inparrila is currently located adjacent a building site. Whilst soundproofing inside is effective, noise levels in the courtyard can be excessive.

Wauwi Inparila is located on the ground floor of a residential apartment complex which house individuals, families and pets. Please ensure your guests are respectful, minimise noise disturbance and understand the site is part of a shared space.
Wauwi Inparrila including the internal courtyard is a smoke and alcohol free zone.
Please leave Wauwi Inparrila clean and tidy when vacating and return furniture and equipment to its rightful place.
Please dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided and recycle where possible.
Please wipe down surfaces, chairs and whiteboards if required.
Please ensure lights, heaters and air-conditioners are turned off
Please ensure exit doors and any windows are secure
