Community Room / Kitchen
About this space
The Community Room offers full kitchen facilities and media access. The Community Room is suitable for meetings, training, cooking classes, seminars and workshops.
Earlier or later start/finish times can be arranged with bookings officer on a case-by-case basis
The Community Room has 50 chairs and 8 folding tables.
Other amenities provided in the Community Room / Kitchen:
Urns (portable and stationary) and Carafes
Cutlery, cooking and serving utensils
Cups, saucers, plates and glasses
Mixing and serving bowls and platters
Filtered boiling water and cold-water taps.
2 fridges and 2 dishwashers, cooktops, ovens, microwaves.

Rules
Applicants must be 18 years of age or over
The venue can only be accessed within the booked time. Your booking time must include set up and pack up time.
We do not supply consumable items such as tea, coffee, milk etc.
Any dishes used in the Community Room must be cleaned and put away at the end of your booking.
Not suitable for parties, entertainment events and sports/fitness groups

Getting Here
By Car: (max 20 parking passes available upon request for bookings over 3hrs)
· Access Kwinana Freeway
· Turn right or left onto Beeliar Drive (coming from North or South Kwinana Freeway)
· Head straight and follow Beeliar Drive and turn left onto Wentworth Parade (the third set of lights from the freeway).
· Look for the Sign ‘Cockburn Health and Community’.
By Train:
· Coming from Perth City - Take the Mandurah Train line and stop at the Cockburn Central train station.
· Coming from Mandurah or Rockingham - Take the Mandurah Cockburn line and stop at Cockburn central station.
· Coming from Fremantle, Midland or Joondalup - Change trains at Perth City and take the Cockburn train line stopping at Cockburn central station.
By Bus:
· Arrive at Cockburn Central and catch any of the following buses the 527, 531 or the 532 to Gateways shopping centre. (Please note bus timetables may change please check this prior to beginning your journey).
