Room 10

Room 10 at Petone Community House

Room 10 is a spacious, accessible venue on the ground floor with wheelchair access, measuring approximately 5.6m x 3.6m. This room can host up to 12 people in a presentation-style setup, 16 in a circle arrangement, or 10 seated at trestle tables, making it an ideal space for gatherings of various sizes.

Each room at Petone Community House includes a heater or heat pump on a timer for year-round comfort, as well as trestle tables, chairs, and a whiteboard (please bring your own whiteboard markers).

Suggested uses for Room 10 include meetings, discussion groups, family and mediation meetings, and support groups, providing a comfortable and functional space for focused interactions.

Users have access to both a kitchen and kitchenette. The fully-equipped kitchen, located downstairs, includes an oven, microwave, fridge, mugs, glasses, teapot, coffee plungers, cutlery, water jugs, and a hot water zip. For convenience, the kitchenette, located upstairs next to Room 4, has a hot water zip, microwave, small fridge, water jugs, mugs, cutlery, and glasses.

Please note that the kitchen and kitchenette are shared facilities available to all house users and cannot be booked exclusively for individual groups
