A meeting, event and performance venue. With a meeting room for up to 30 that includes whiteboard and video presentation screen. The auditorium has seating for 200 guests in theatre style or table dining for around 180 seated. The large stage includes projection, stage lighting and haze. An 18 channel X-Air mixer into powered FOH audio with monitors available for an additional fee. Our commercial kitchen can host over 200 guests for dining and is available for individual hire.

About this space

The Algie Hall - a well equipped meeting, event and performance venue. With a meeting room for up to 30 that includes whiteboard and video presentation screen.
The auditorium has seating for 200 guests in theatre style or table dining for 180 seated and up to 300 guests standing when the whole venue is booked.

Our commercial kitchen can host over 200 dining guests.

  • Our AV and Lighting control box for audio and lighting, can be booked, it is located above auditorium entry doors.

  • The space has a screen and fixed ceiling projector which you can add to your booking at checkout. The projector comes with HDMI & VGA cables. You must bring your own adaptors if none of these work for the ports on your machine. The connection to the projector is via the stage end of the hall and the lighting box. There is also a sound system and 3 wired mics and one haldheld wireless mic. These can be hired at checkout.
    There is a tech and lighting control booth above the entry of the hall. The lighting rig can be used (extra) and you will need to have your own techie to manage it. There is 3 phase power.

100% refund on cancellations up until 14 days before your booking. After that, cancel and get a 90% refund.
Parking and Public Transport Information

The area has free on and off-street parking available across the road infront of the Primary School. This is usually available after school hours and is first come first serve for all hall users.
