Harry Riseborough Ovals

Harry Riseborough Oval is a cherished community sports field, located in the heart of the town. This well-maintained oval serves as a central hub for local sporting events, family picnics, and outdoor activities, providing residents with a beautiful and spacious area to enjoy sports and community gatherings.

Harry Riseborough Oval is unique to the Shire as it provides the only dedicated soccer pitches in the district.

The reserve on which it is located also has the Mundaring Tennis Club and the Mundaring Skatepark.

Upper oval facilities include:

• 115m x 95m reticulated natural turf sports field

• Can cater for soccer

• 100 lux sports floodlighting with four towers and metal halide lamps

• Access to Les Olley Pavilion which has home and away change rooms, and a large function room with a kiosk. There are also additional and separate home and away change rooms

• Water fountain and tap

Lower oval facilities include:

• 95m x 60m reticulated natural turf sports field

• Can cater for soccer

• 50 lux sports floodlighting with four towers and metal halide lamps

• Access to Les Olley Pavilion which has home and away change rooms, and a large function room with a kiosk. There are also additional and separate home and away change rooms

Seasonal sporting clubs operate regularly at this oval and, as a result, casual hire is limited. Please see the Booking Schedule for available times. Applications for organised sporting use/training which conflicts with seasonal sporting codes may be declined.
