The Town of Cambridge's open spaces are available for the public to use in a passive recreational way. For gatherings with expected attendance of fewer than 50 people, with no intention to bring infrastructure on to the open space or require vehicle access onto the reserve, do not require a formal booking.

Non-exclusive use. Town of Cambridge open spaces cannot be reserved for exclusive use. Bookings cannot block or section specific areas of the open space for exclusive use.
Contact with the Town must be made for larger events (Category 2 through Category 5 events).

Site plans must be provided with booking applications. For the purposes of site plan creation high quality aerial imagery of open spaces can be accessed via Intramaps
Structures to be erected in Town open spaces must be approved by the Town prior to the event
The open space must be left in a clean and tidy state
Amplified sound is kept to a minimum
Set up and pack down time must be included in booking times
Terms and Conditions must be read and complied with
Parking must be in accordance to local laws and signage
Infringements will be issued to illegally parked vehicles
Valid photographic identification (driver licence, proof of age card, or passport) must be submitted for verification from Town staff when collecting keys.
Key collection is not available after hours. Hire fees are forfeited if keys are not collected.
