2nd Melton Scout Hall

2nd Melton Scout Hall is a newly renovated space within the Melton South community right next to the Blackwood Reserve. Our core purpose is to coordinate the 2nd Melton Scout Group, however we also have fabulous community facilities that we share/hire. This is our main hall, a great multi functional space suitable for regular groups or bigger celebration events. This space is ideal for: community gatherings and groups, classes, film screenings, consultations, celebrations like training and workshops, makes, fairs and so much more.

The hall space benefits from high ceilings and high windows to let the light in. It has plenty of natural light, however there are also large lights. The kitchenette is off to the side with with access to instant urn, pie warmer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cups, plates, bowls and cutlery for approximately 20 people. Limited cooking equipment is available. There is limited fridge space that is shared by the Scout Group.

The Hall has time slots available for regular and casual hire! We have reduced rates for regular bookings, message us through his page to discuss your needs. We aim to promote other local community groups sharing our space with our Scouting families. Regular bookings will be invoices monthly. Fenced outside space with some trees for shade, enough space for 2-3 gazebos and a BBQ.

You are welcome to decorate the hall space for your event, however you cannot use push pins, nails or anything that would damage the walls. Please note the hall must be left as you found it, so all decorations must be removed. Please no confetti, rice or party poppers in the outside area. The hall space is large enough for a bouncy castle. It's fine to use an external event hire company if you want to bring in your own furniture, table cloths, drapes, ect. All decorations and anything that you have bought in for your event must be removed at the end of your booking, we can't accommodate storage or set up/pack up down before or after your booked time has ended. Please book the time you need in the hall space to set up and pack udown and clean as the hall may used directly after you. All rubbish must be removed from the property and taken away with you. It is expected that the venue is left as clean and as tidy as you found fit. Cleaning equipment is provided.
