About this space

The Limehills Community Centre is a multi-functional facility located at 116 Ayr Street.

The community centre is a great venue and is suitable for gatherings large or small, including sports teams and events.

Changing rooms and showers are available.

The large rectangular shaped main space has a separate bar and a modern kitchen area and plenty of space for tables, dancing and socialising.

Included in the hire charge is the use of the kitchen which has a large pie warmer, refrigerator and an oven available for use.

The hall is available for regular hire and we have reduced rates for this.

Rules

§ Outside caterers are welcome to use the facilities, they will need to provide their own plates, bowls, eating and cooking utensils, pots, pans, serving dishes. They are able to access the kitchen without having to enter the main space.

§ Alcohol may be served at this venue under the guidelines of the Southland District Council.

§ All areas of the Community Centre are expected to be cleaned by the hirers and rubbish and recycling removed. Please provide your own cleaning equipment and rubbish bags.

§ You are welcome to decorate the space, please be mindful of the photographs on the wall.

§ The hall is smoke and vape free and any smokers must go outside into the carpark to smoke or vape.

§ Please treat the hall as you would your own home, leave it as you found it and report to the custodian any damage, faulty equipment or problems.

Please see attached instructions for turning on the water, bar fridge and heaters.
