Iona Scout Hall for Hire at Blockhouse Bay Community Centre

The Centre is proud to offer a place to meet, gather, connect and belong for our local community. We are always open to new ideas, events, activities or groups wishing to start up in the Bay.

The Iona Scout Hall is a smaller multipurpose space for meetings, rehearsals, exercise and dance. It has a private entrance, wooden floors and a small kitchenette for tea & coffee and serving food. The space set up is very flexible and will fit 50 standing. It has it's own private toilet.

Rates:

$20 per hour for hourly weekday bookings

The hall space would be perfect for

Meetings: small meetings, community gatherings, training, workshops, hustings, networking

Rehearsals, fitness & wellness: dance, plays, yoga, pilates, fitness, meditation, choirs, rehearsals

Social & community: quiz nights, games groups, talks & presentations, first aid classes.

Included in the space hire is:

• Tables & chairs

• WiFi

• Heating and fans

• Use of the kitchenette

• Whiteboard

Access

During our normal office hours (Mon-Fri 9am-3.30pm and evenings by appointment only), someone on reception will be available to let you into the hall. If your booking is outside of these times, you can pick up a key in advance from reception.

The hall is wheelchair accessible, and there are wheel chair accessible toilets.
