About this space
The Innisfail Shire Hall is a spectacular heritage listed Art Deco building. The available space features a spacious concert hall with polished timber floors. Available with this space is a full commercial kitchen with capacity to cater for large functions. The space also includes a formal foyer with timber bar. Facility is fully accessible and includes accessible toilets.

FAQ
Do you provide set up assistance for large functions?
No, it is your responsibility for any set up or tear down.
Do you require the use of the in-house Audio and Lighting Equipment?
Yes -Any technical requirements are the responsibility of the hirer, a venue systems technician may be required for use of the equipment if it is outside the normal scope of Council’s General Mode of Operations. Note: The use of the equipment must be operated by a professional qualified technician, deemed suitable by Council.
No -All external equipment must meet Australian Standard Electrical Code and be Test Tagged by an authorised person. The use of Haze machines or smoke machines is not allowed within the hall at anytime without the prior approval of Council.
Do you require use of the in-house Audio and Lighting Equipment Outside of the General Mode of Operations?
Yes - You will be required to have a Venue System Technician present for the duration of your event. Council can provide you with details for our approved VST if you require. Attendance by a VST is not included with in the hire fee of the venue. The cost of a VST will be between yourself and the VST engaged.
No - Council will provide instructions on the use of General Mode of Operations upon receipt of keys and venue induction.
In-House Audio and Lighting Disclaimer:
CCRC In-House Audio and Lighting system has 2 Modes,
General Mode:
The Hirer - using a touch panel have the ability to use up to four radio microphones in the main hall. There is also the ability to pluga phone or laptop into the auxiliary cable for music. Please note this is a 3.5mm cable an adaptor is required if using a new phone. The lighting can be operated from the same panel, by selecting the lighting tab, from here you can have a basic stage wash of the main performance space.
Theatre Mode:
This mode is used for when a touring or external contractor requires un-restricted access to the In-House Audio and Lighting System. This can only be used by an approved professional Venue System Technician. Use of this mode will require a Venue Systems Technician to be present during your event.
Safety Disclaimer:
The use of Smoke or Haze machines is strictly prohibited without Council’s prior approval. In the event that these are used and a fire alarm is triggered, a fine for a false alarm may be applied.
Without consent from Council and or the Venue Systems Technician, no access is permitted to the following: If the access has been gained without consent leading to damage of equipment or loss of equipment, the hirer will be fully liable for any loss or damages.

Street parking is available. For larger functions, off street parking is accessible at the rear of the building. Disability parks are located directly in front of the Shire Hall building. Parking regulations apply.
