About this space

Glenelg Community Centre is located in the heart of Glenelg and an easy 2-minute walk to beautiful Glenelg Beach and 3 minutes' walk to Glenelg Jetty.

The facility offers an open spaced hall and a spacious kitchen as well as adjoining library/computer room (ideal for small group activities), a meeting room/workshop, small activity room with kitchenette. Hire includes tables, chairs, kitchen, AV & Tech equipment, heating and cooling.

The Glenelg Community Centre is perfect for seminars, workshops and events with the Jetty Road Tram Stop, local eateries and the shopping precinct within a 2-minute walk.

Glenelg Community Centre hosts the Glenelg Community Club which offers a range of recreational and educational activities for people over the age of 45. The Club is a membership-based, not-for-profit organisation that offers a wide range of activities see current timetable at https://www.glenelgcommunityclub.com.au/.

The centre is available for hire from 4pm to midnight Monday to Saturday and is available for bookings all day Sunday.

  • This space is in a dry zone with no alcohol able to be consumed outside of the building. Serving alcohol within the premises requires a liquor licence.

  • Hirers must accept the Terms and Conditions and undergo an induction prior to being issued with a key.

  • Fees and charges may apply where the Terms and Conditions are not met.

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 3 days before your booking. After that, there are no refunds on cancellation.
Parking and Public Transport Information

  • There are meter parking spaces along Colley Terrace and Wilson Parking offer secure parking at The Beach House Carpark.

  • Tram Stop 17 (Moseley Square) is only a 2 minute walk from the Centre.

  • The Centre is on bus 265 route that connects Marion to Glenelg and is a 1 minute walk from Colley Terrace bus stop.
