Our Hub....
With a funky and friendly vibe, Sister Project’s unique Community Hub is a rare find in Perth. This warm, inviting space offers the perfect atmosphere for learning, connecting and relaxed discussion, putting your group at ease while allowing them a professional and reflective space to interact, absorb and focus.
Our Hub is divided up into numerous areas. There is a Main Event Space, with lounges, Workshop Area, Kitchen, Counselling Room, 2 Offices, 3 Classrooms, a Computer Room and a breakout area.
Each of these areas are suitable for community groups and organisations to use for purposes such as: film screenings, consultations, training and workshops, remote office work, client meetings, board meetings, art and craft groups, cooking classes, and hot desking.
Main Event Space
Purpose built for versatility and practicality, Sister Project's Main Event Space provides several table and chair styles and layout options to create the most appropriate seating arrangements for your event.
Alongside the Main Event Space, several breakout spaces and soft seating options are available for more intimate group discussions.
Designed for various uses, the Main Event Space generously allows for 30 – 40 people seated.
It is a large room with the best view of the Main Street and the central Ellen Stirling park of Ellenbrook.
The room has large windows with plenty of natural light which can also be adjusted as needed with the block-out curtains. Furnished with funky individual lounging areas, dining table, workshop table and extensive benches everything can be moved around as required.
There is a remotely operated oversized projector screen as well as a wall-hung TV screen with HDMI cord available for connecting to laptops.
The area can be lit in various areas as well as offers light dimming for mood lighting as required. Immediately attached and open to the Main Event Space is the large kitchen, with full sized fridge, oven and dishwasher, making it very convenient for cooking, heating and serving food. Additionally, there is a small lounge area suitable for a quiet space or as a supervised small indoor play area.
With the variety in soft furnishings, extensive indoor plants and gorgeous artworks, the Main Event Space feels like an oversized loungeroom and looks fabulous as a backdrop for social media pictures. This lends itself to feeling welcoming and a friendly space ideal for making people feel comfortable and at home. The temperature of the space can be warmed or cooled with adjustable air-conditioning. There are multiple PowerPoints located around the room. This room is easily wheel chair accessible.
The space has a ceiling hung remote-controlled overhead projector screen and a wall hung large screen TV. A small overhead projector can be hired and added at checkout. HDMI cables are available to be used. There is a laptop available for use or bring your own to connect. The size of the room does not require a microphone. Lighting is adjustable as required.
PRICING
If you are a commercial hirer (that is, a business or selling tickets to your event) you must add the commercial surcharge to your booking of $25 per hour.
If you are booking on behalf of a community group you maybe eligible for a 40% discount off the total price of your booking - see booking questions for further information.
If you are booking on behalf of a Not-For-Profit organisation you maybe eligible for a 20% discount off the total price of your booking - see booking questions for further information.
If you are booking on behalf of a Government organisation you maybe eligible for a 10% discount off the total price of your booking - see booking questions for further information.
A mandatory $500 bond is taken for all weekend function bookings that serve alcohol.

Regular hire:
The Main Event Space offers reduced rates for regular hires. Message us to discuss your needs. We promote ongoing activities like yoga and classes on social media and our noticeboard, with opportunities for cross-referencing with other groups. Suitable for small intimate groups up to 40-50 seated or 70 standing, with dimensions of 15m x 10m.
Communal Kitchen Access:
The Main Event Space provides full kitchen access for self-catering or external catering. Access is through the main area. The kitchen includes a double sink, fridge, double oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Cutlery, crockery, and cooking equipment are provided and must be washed and returned. A cleaning package is available if needed. Rubbish must be sorted into recycling and general waste, with bins emptied on Thursday mornings. Alcohol is allowed but cannot be sold onsite. Catering options are available through Sister Project or nearby businesses. Decorations are allowed but must be removed without damaging walls. Wheelchair access is provided, with reserved parking and accessible facilities. Nearby amenities include cafes, eateries, supermarkets, and retail stores. Assistance is available during business hours, with after-hours access via a lockbox code. Thank you for choosing Sister Project.

The facility is checked after each booking.
We understand accidents happen and appreciate that you will be liable for for the costs of any damage.

Additional details
There is a free carpark directly behind our facility as well as surrounding street parking. The shopping complex over the road has multiple areas for parking. We are on the bus route from the north of Ellenbrook to Bassendean, Morley, Whitfords and Midland stations. The Ellenbrook train station is one block away from our facility and will be completed in 2024.
