About this space
The Dipton War Memorial Hall is located on the Main Road in Dipton
Our hall is a great multi-functional space suitable for regular groups or bigger celebration events.
This space is ideal for community gatherings and groups, dance classes, film screenings, consultations, celebrations like birthday parties, training and workshops, markets, fairs, and so much more.
The hall contains 2 rooms, the main hall and RSA room with an adjoining kitchen. The kitchen has a serving hatch into the main hall and a smaller hatch into the RSA rooms.
Rooms can be hired separately.
This hall is perfect for winter and summer with double glazed windows. Heat pumps keep the hall warm.
The hall has slots available for regular hire. We have reduced rates for regular bookings. Message us through this page to discuss what you need. We promote all ongoing activity groups and classes through our local community.

Rules
§ The hall contains all the chairs that you may require and also a selection of trestle tables.
§ Included in the kitchen are 2 sinks, 2 hot water zips, fridge, 2 ovens and stove top, dishwasher and a pie warmer.
§ There are a lot of mugs, some cups and saucers and a limited amount of other crockery. For larger gatherings you will need to bring your own cutlery, glassware, crockery and cooking and serving equipment
§ You're welcome to use the kitchen for self-catering your event or with external caterers
§ You are welcome to decorate the hall space for your event. However, you cannot use pins or tape or anything that would damage the hall walls. Blu Tak is permitted
§ Please note the hall must be left as you found it, so all decorations, including ties, must be removed
§ Please no confetti, rice or party poppers in the outside area
§ The hall space is large enough for a bouncy castle
§ It's fine to use an external event hire company if you want to bring your own furniture, table cloths, drapes etc. There is a limited amount of table cloths available.
§ All decorations and anything you have brought in for your event must be removed by the end of your booking. We are unable to accommodate storage for set up/pack down before or after your booking time Please book the time you need in the hall space to allow for set up, pack down and cleaning of the hall
§ No smoking or vaping
§ No naked flames
§ If the fire alarm is activated there may be a fine for any fire service callouts
§ No barbecues
§ No smoke machines
§ Alcohol can be brought into the hall. However, the hirer would need to get a special license and have a manager on site if holding an event at which alcohol will be sold
§ Some cleaning equipment is supplied. A vacuum cleaner, brooms etc.
