Parks Community Room 2 combines beauty with functionality in a modern, expansive setting that comfortably hosts up to 50 people. Adorned with curtains for added privacy, and a flexible arrangement. Projector, adjustable lectern and a hearing loop system enable seamless presentations. This beautiful, versatile room is tailor-made for conferences, workshops, and social gatherings, ensuring style for any occasion.

Bookings made for Community and Meeting Rooms at Parks Library outside the library opening hours require a key to be collected no more than 7 days but at least 24 hours prior to start of the booking. This key MUST be collected from, and returned to, Parks Library. This key MUST be returned within two days of the booking completion. Parks Library Opening Hours Monday - 9 am - 5 pm Tuesday - 9 am - 5 pm Wednesday - 9 am - 7 pm Thursday - 9 am - 5 pm Friday - 9 am - 7 pm Saturday - 10 am - 4 pm Sunday - 10 am - 4 pm. CLOSED on Public Holidays.

Community Kitchenette KEY

Parks Library has a shared use community kitchenette that can be accessed for the duration of a room booking. If your booking requires access to cooking equipment, please select this option to ensure a key collection. This key MUST be collected at least 24 hours prior to start of booking from, and returned to, Parks Library. Parks Library Opening Hours Monday - 9 am - 5 pm Tuesday - 9 am - 5 pm Wednesday - 9 am - 7 pm Thursday - 9 am - 5 pm Friday - 9 am - 7 pm Saturday - 10 am - 4 pm Sunday - 10 am - 4 pm. To ensure that everyone enjoys their time with us, and to ensure all hires run smoothly, we have established some space rules. These are designed to maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all guests. By adhering to these space rules, we can all ensure that your hire is a success and that future guests can also enjoy our facilities.

At Parks Library:

Booking time must include delivery of any equipment, setting up, event, tidy up, cleaning & collection of equipment.
We are unable to accommodate parties.
Alcohol is permitted for events that start after 7pm ONLY, please refer to the Liquor Licensing information in the Facility Terms and Conditions. Please follow the link for liquor licence information SA.GOV.AU - Apply for a liquor licence (www.sa.gov.au)
The selling of food and drink requires approval.
Prior approval is required for amplified sound or amusement structures.
Please refrain from using nails, screws, sticky tape, or tacks to fix decorations on any hard surface.
Avoid the use of free-floating balloons, confetti, and rice.
Kindly maintain the venue's cleanliness and leave it as you found it ready for the next hirer and return your access card to avoid any fees.

Host's Cancellation Policy

100% refund on cancellations up until 2 days before your booking. After that, there are no refunds on cancellation.

There are a limited number of parking spaces around the library. Parking is also available in the Medical Centre and YMCA car parks close to the library.
