About this space
Kilburn Community Centre is at the heart of the Kilburn/Blair Athol community, where people from all walks of life come together. Nestled just off Prospect Road, it’s a vibrant spot in one of the most diverse corners of PAE, offering a heap of services and programs for locals and visitors alike. This place is a true community hub, serving a mix of social groups and individuals across all ages and backgrounds. Whether you're a local or just passing through, you'll find Kilburn Community Centre welcoming and full of life. With plenty of parking and open space around it, the centre has all the facilities you need, including meeting rooms, a creche, a hall, a kitchen, and a fully equipped stadium perfect for indoor sports. Plus, there’s an accessible toilet on-site. If your group is looking for a spot to meet regularly or run activities, you can hire the centre for that too.
At Kilburn, we’re all about bringing people together, creating a space where everyone feels at home. Just a quick note – this space is available for ongoing hirers only. If you’re after a one-off booking, have a look at our Community Halls instead.
We also can’t take bookings within 2 weeks of the booking date, so make sure you’ve got plenty of time to plan. Please read through this section to check that you meet our hirer criteria. All room bookings are considered in line with the City of PAE Community Centre’s strategic objectives.

Rules
· For Ongoing Users Only, not available for once off hire.
· Please ensure you have read the full “conditions of hire – facilities” document to understand your requirements as a hirer.
· You’re responsible for setting up and packing up the venue – make sure your booking time includes both. When you're done, all furniture and equipment need to go back where you found it.
· Keep the place clean and tidy and leave it as you found it. Wipe down all surfaces – tables, benches, everything. Some cleaning materials will be provided.
Dispose of any rubbish in the on-site bins and take any extra rubbish with you.
Smoking is not allowed indoors or within 10 metres of the entrance.
No pets or animals allowed unless a prior arrangement has been made.
All electrical equipment brought on site will need to be tested and tagged.
Common areas such as foyers and passageways are to always remain clear. Hirers are not to set up tables, chairs or block these areas, as they provide clear access and exit for emergencies.
The hirer must ensure that persons under the age of 18 years are not left unsupervised at the Centre for any length of time. It is expected that children remain in the same room that has been booked under the supervision of a responsible adult.
