This space contains 5 different areas that can be booked independently.


About this space

The Kilburn Community Centre serves as the central hub of the Kilburn/Blair Athol community, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Ideally located just off Prospect Road, it stands as a vibrant focal point within one of the most multicultural areas of PAE, offering a wide range of services and programs for both local residents and visitors. This Centre is truly a community asset, accommodating various social groups and individuals across all age groups and demographics. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, the Kilburn Community Centre is a welcoming and lively space.

With ample parking and expansive surrounding grounds, the Centre is equipped with all necessary facilities, including meeting rooms, a creche, a hall, a kitchen, and a fully equipped stadium ideal for indoor sports. Additionally, an accessible restroom is available for convenience.

At Kilburn Community Centre, our primary focus is on fostering community connections and providing a space where everyone feels at home. Please note that the Centre is available for ongoing hire only and is not open for casual bookings. If you need to make a one-off booking, have a look at our Community Halls instead.

Please note that bookings cannot be accepted within two weeks of the requested date, so we encourage you to allow ample time for planning. We kindly ask that you review this section to ensure that you meet our hirer criteria. All room bookings will be assessed in alignment with the strategic objectives of the City of PAE Community Centres.

  • Meeting Room 1 |$18.00 per hour (Capacity: 20 people | 6 tables & 20 chairs | Features: Whiteboard, roof mounted projector)

  • Meeting Room 5 |$11.00 per hour (Capacity: 15 people | 3 tables & 10 chairs)

  • Meeting Room 6 |$11.00 per hour (Capacity: 8 people | 3 tables & 10 chairs | Features: Whiteboard)

  • Meeting Room 7 |$18.00 per hour (Capacity: 30 people | 7 tables & 20 chairs | Features: Children's bathroom and sink)

Rules

· For Ongoing Users Only, not available for once off hire.

· Please ensure you have read the full “conditions of hire – facilities” document to understand your requirements as a hirer.

· You’re responsible for setting up and packing up the venue – make sure your booking time includes both. When you're done, all furniture and equipment need to go back where you found it.

· Keep the place clean and tidy and leave it as you found it. Wipe down all surfaces – tables, benches, everything. Some cleaning materials will be provided.

  • Dispose of any rubbish in the on-site bins and take any extra rubbish with you.

  • Smoking is not allowed indoors or within 10 metres of the entrance.

  • No pets or animals allowed unless a prior arrangement has been made.

  • All electrical equipment brought on site will need to be tested and tagged.

  • Common areas such as foyers and passageways are to always remain clear. Hirers are not to set up tables, chairs or block these areas, as they provide clear access and exit for emergencies.

  • The hirer must ensure that persons under the age of 18 years are not left unsupervised at the Centre for any length of time. It is expected that children remain in the same room that has been booked under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 14 days before your booking. After that, there are no refunds on cancellation.
Parking and Public Transport Information

Car park on either side of the building is available for centre use.

Access to Kilburn Community Centre by bus includes.

  • Bus G10, Stop 20 Prospect Road,

  • Bus 235, 237, 239, Stop 18 Churchill Road
