Event Flagpoles

The Events Flagpoles initiative by Mount Alexander Shire Council aims to:

· Promote local events and activities within the municipality.

· Highlight and celebrate important dates such as commemorations, community celebrations, and awareness of events like International Women’s Day and ANZAC Day.

· Enhance the visual appeal of Mount Alexander Shire’s streetscapes.

· Foster community cohesion and a sense of belonging.

· Support local economic activity through increased visibility of community initiatives.

Flagpoles serve as platforms to promote local events and enhance public awareness. They provide organisers with opportunities to communicate community happenings, celebrations, and commemorative occasions effectively and well in advance of events.
