About this space
Boya Oval, which is actually located just within the suburb Helena Valley, is a beloved community sports field set against the scenic backdrop of the Perth Foothills. It is next to the Boya Community Centre with the Katherine Susannah Pritchard Library, and Helena Valley Tennis Club. It is a welcoming space for local sporting events, outdoor activities, and family picnics.
Facilities include:
145m x 105m reticulated natural turf sports field
Can cater for senior AFL, cricket, and one north/south orientated full-size rectangle pitch for soccer or rugby
Artificial turf cricket pitch
Seasonal AFL goalposts
100 lux sports floodlighting with four towers and metal halide lamps
Three cricket practice nets
Home and away change rooms, kiosk, and covered veranda
Large playground
Seasonal sporting clubs operate regularly at this oval and, as a result, casual hire is limited. Please see the Booking Schedule for available times. Applications for organised sporting use/training which conflicts with seasonal sporting codes may be declined.
