The Arrival Centre is a classroom size event space located in beautiful TECT Park - a giant outdoor adventure park where you can create your own fun. It's perfect for lots of different uses including:

Food
The kitchenette comes with small fridge, small microwave, instant hot water, approximately 30 mugs, some plates and assorted cutlery – Please note: There is no oven or cook top available for use. Cleaning materials are provided and tea, coffee and sugar are available. There is also a free electric BBQ that is available for the general public. The BBQ cannot be booked as part of the Arrival Centre. It is used on a first in, first served basis. You can use our kitchenette for light food prep and serving self catered food. Please leave the kitchen as you found it. Please bring a t-towel and a rubbish bag, to take your rubbish home with you. Food cannot be sold without obtaining the appropriate permit from Council. Food license application forms are available on the Western Bay of Plenty District Council website www.westernbay.govt.nz and take 7 days to process. Please note that food to be sold, must be prepared in a licensed kitchen, and sold in the wrapping that it leaves the licensed kitchen in.
Alcohol
No liquor is to be sold, supplied, or consumed (including BYO) at the venue without a Special License from the Liquor Licensing Agency. Application forms are available on Council’s website www.westernbay.govt.nz. You will need to request a letter of consent from the landowner (Park Manager). Please request this at least 5 days prior to your application, if required. An application must be made to Council at least 25 working days before the event date. This includes a 20-day statutory waiting period under the Sale of Liquor Act 1989. The license must be displayed on the premises throughout the duration of the event.
Sound & AV
The Arrival Centre has a large monitor that can connect to a laptop via HDMI cable or a USB stick. You will need to bring your own cable adaptor if your personal device does not have HDMI. There is no tech support provided as part of your hire. There are no speakers or mics. You may play media/amplied sound up to 45dc. Please be considerate of other park users.
Accessibility
Public toilets are attached to the Arrival Centre and there is a balcony over looking a beautiful tree glade area. There is also a free electric BBQ that is available for the general public. The BBQ cannot be booked as part of the Arrival Centre. It is used on a first in, first served basis. The space is fully wheelchair accessible.

Rules
No Smoking indoors, open fires, smoke machines, naked flames (including candles and kerosene lamps), or spits, without prior consent of Council.
No chewing gum.
All rubbish must be removed from the facility.
Keep all activities off and away from planting areas.
Stick to designated access ways, boardwalks, etc.
No commercial activities, sponsorship or branding ,without prior approval of Council.
No parties.
