About this space
Restful “Kooyalee” is a perfect family, group or sole traveller camping spot.
There is space for all! Our 4.2 ha property has two distinct camping areas – cleared grassy areas under the trees (Wirralee) or more secluded bush camping. Both areas provide quiet surrounds for you and your family to enjoy the bush camping experience, relaxing roasting marshmallows, enjoying the sunset and uninterrupted star gazing. Guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them upon departure.
Wirralee is a lovely grassy camping area under the trees with fire pits nearby. There are 25 campsites at Wirralee with plenty of room between tents. Guests must bring their own toilet, water for drinking and cooking and take their rubbish upon departure.
There is also an undercover shaded area where you can set up a temporary table however it is for the use of all guests.
Prices listed are for up to two guests. Maximum of 5 guests allowed per site. Plus $10 per person per night (Ages 5 and above). Please remember to add any additional people under 'additional charges'. If you have a group larger than 5 please book two sites.
Kooyalee is located 20 minutes from the coastal town of Yeppoon with its beautiful beaches, and Rockhampton CBD is also only 25 minutes away. If you love adventure, Kooyalee sits on the doorstep of some excellent hiking locations and mountain biking trails. Set up camp and use the property as your base to explore.
Friendly wallabies and occasional kangaroos also like to share this delightful property with our guests.
